Our Mission: Affordable, Accessible Golf

Why We Built Flyer

Golf can be expensive. Buying new clubs isn’t always realistic, and selling your old ones usually means dealing with high fees, awkward listings, or resellers taking a big cut.

We thought there had to be a better way — so we built one.

Flyer is the UK’s only dedicated golf marketplace, created to make golf more accessible, more sustainable, and better value for everyone.

This month marks our first birthday, and we just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who’s been part of the journey so far — the early sellers, the curious buyers, and the clubs and coaches who’ve helped spread the word. You’ve helped shape Flyer into what it is today.

A fairer deal for buyers and sellers

Flyer cuts out the reseller markup and the platform fees that can make second-hand gear feel almost as expensive as new.
Sellers get 0% fees. Buyers get real value. And no one has to scroll past washing machines or bid against bots at 2am.

We’re building a community of golfers who believe in doing things differently — people who’d rather pass on their old 7-iron to someone who’ll actually use it, and find their next club from a fellow player rather than a warehouse.

A more sustainable way to play

There’s no shortage of quality gear out there — but too much of it ends up in the garage, or worse, the bin. Every club listed on Flyer is a step toward a more circular golf economy — less waste, fewer carbon miles, and more life for the kit we already have.

Whether you're a weekend player, a coach, a gear nerd, or just someone with a few too many clubs lying around — Flyer’s for you.

How You Can Help

We’re building something new — and we can’t do it without the golf community.

Here’s how you can help make Flyer better for everyone:

  • Price realistically
If your item’s cheaper on eBay or Golfbidder, it won’t sell. Other platforms might get more traffic, but they take a big cut. Flyer gives you a better return — but pricing still needs to make sense.

  • Take good photos
Clear pictures of the clubface, grip, and shaft make a huge difference. People buy with their eyes — and no one trusts a listing with one blurry shot.

  • Be honest about condition
If there’s a scratch or a sky mark, show it. The more transparent the listing, the quicker it’ll sell.

  • Spread the word
Tell your golf mates. Mention us at your club. Share your listings. The more golfers who know about Flyer, the better the marketplace becomes for everyone — more listings, more buyers, more value.

We're only just getting started. If you believe golf should be more affordable, more sustainable, and a little less faff — you're in the right place.
